Pre-Order Policy

Matrix TCG offers pre-orders on selected upcoming releases — sealed product launches, special editions, and limited print runs. This policy explains how pre-orders work.

What Is A Pre-Order

A pre-order is a reservation for an item that has not yet been released. You pay for it now, Matrix TCG holds your allocation, and we ship it as soon as the item is released and arrives at our Inglewood facility. Pre-order items are clearly labeled with:

  • A "PRE-ORDER" tag on the product page
  • An estimated release/ship date
  • Pre-order specific terms when applicable

Payment

Pre-orders are charged in full at the time of purchase, not at the time of shipment. This secures your allocation and locks in your price.

Pricing

The price at pre-order is the price you pay. If MSRP or our retail price changes between your order and release, your locked-in price remains.

Estimated Ship Dates

Every pre-order listing includes an estimated ship date based on the manufacturer's announced release schedule. These dates are estimates — manufacturer delays do occur. When delays happen:

  • We update the listed date
  • We email customers with active pre-orders
  • You can keep your pre-order or cancel for a full refund

Pre-Order Shipping

Once a pre-order arrives at our facility, standard handling applies: 3 business days from receipt to ship, with 3–8 business days transit. Free shipping. Tracking included. Insurance on orders over $100.

Pre-orders ship FIFO — first orders placed, first orders shipped.

Cancellations

You can cancel a pre-order anytime before it ships for a full refund. To cancel:

  1. Email support@matrixtcg.shop with "Pre-Order Cancellation" in the subject
  2. Include your order number
  3. We confirm within 24 hours
  4. Full refund within 3–5 business days

Manufacturer Cancellations

If a manufacturer cancels a release entirely:

  1. We notify you immediately
  2. We issue an automatic full refund
  3. No action required from you

Combining With In-Stock Items

If your cart contains both pre-order and in-stock items:

Default — Split Shipment: In-stock items ship within 3 business days. Pre-order items ship when released. Both ship free.
Hold For Combined Shipment: Add a note at checkout requesting a hold for combined shipment. Everything ships together when the pre-order is ready.

Authenticity

Pre-order items are sourced from authorized distributors and arrive factory-sealed. Our 100% authenticity guarantee fully applies to pre-orders.
